	Pancake Races! VIDEO Tuesday, March 5, 2019 This past Sunday St. Paul's Rochester hosted the running of the clerics! This is an annual pancake race in our diocese in preparation for shrove Tuesday and a Holy Lent. Competitors raced around a gym while flipping a pancake in their frying pan. Rev. Padraic Collins-Bohrer served as referee, and Rev. Catherine Tatem served some delicious gumbo after the races. Donations from each competitor were awarded to the charity of the winning priest. 	Choir Returns Home Thursday, February 28, 2019 GENEVA, NY - St. Peter's Community Arts Academy Senior (youth) Choir returned home from a 9 day trip performing in England, Wales and Scottland. The 32 choristers, ages 13-18 were phenomenal in their performances, and the audiences were large, and quite taken with the excellence of the choir. 	When one door closes, God opens another Monday, February 25, 2019 Do you believe that when one door closes, God opens another? On January 16, 2019 the Cen-cinai Bureau of the Costa Rican National Department of Health announced that they would not accept our offer to build a school in Cartagena. There were less than five children left in the village that qualified for government assistance – the rest had left with their families in the caravans headed north towards the United States. We were devastated – three years of hard work down the drain. Read more »
