New REACH Home

The 2018-2019 REACH Home will open in mid-November. You are invited to an Open House on Saturday, November 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 102 N. Union Street, Rochester. All are welcome.  

Please consider bringing something from our “Needs List” that is included in this Newsletter.  Please note parking is very limited and we ask you to park on Union Street or on side streets nearby.

On Sunday, November 18 we will be open to welcome guests.

Our Personnel Committee has now named a House Manager for this year and is currently filling all of the staff positions.

Goodness To Go

Bishop Prince Singh spent and evening with our friends at The Sisters of Saint Joseph Motherhouse, on behalf of the Greater Rochester Community of Churches.  Bishop Singh shared his inspiring words on "Goodness to Go - finding our breath in today's world."  Attendees also spent time in workshops, sharing stories within groups, and reflecting on how the goodness in others have shaped their lives.  Bishop Singh continues to share his message of seeing the face of God in others, in our beloved communities!

Prayers for our Brothers and Sisters / Vigil

The terrible act of terror in Pittsburg has shaken all of us. Please remember our Brothers and Sisters in prayer. Leaders from the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester attended a vigil Sunday at Temple B’rith Kodesh.  At such times of unspeakable grief the one thing we can do as Beloved Community is stand in solidarity with those who feel the depth of such hate crimes.
Let us uphold these loved ones who feel the numbing depth of targeted terror in their souls this morning.
