A Death in our Diocesan Family / Father Abi's Father

Dearly Beloved in Christ,

I am deeply saddened to inform you that Father Abi’s beloved Father Irai Isai Chelvar (Tamilnadu State Awardee) Pulavar. A. John, Rtd Teacher, Former Secretary and Catechist of CSI Goudie Memorial Church, Former Correspondant of CSI Primary Schools, Madras Diocese has accepted his Call to Eternal glory on June 10, 2021.

I was with Father Abi, Angeline, John and Alfina last night to pray with them. The family is deeply saddened and requests your prayers for God’s comfort. Due to COVID realities, the funeral service in Tamil, Father Abi’s mother tongue, is happening now at 6:30 am our time. A recording will be also available.
