St. Luke’s, Fairport

For Christmas or the Fourth Sunday of Advent we are going to begin our service with a virtual pageant that our very creative and dedicated admin. asst. is putting together with help from some of our parishioners. As a result our usual zoom service will be briefer Christmas evening at 5pm we will hold a zoom service for Christmas eve. It will also be pre-recorded on YouTube. Christmas day we are gathering on Zoom at 10am for a time to share a poem, a song, a memory of Christmas in the context of prayer. The First Sunday after Christmas we will have the traditional lessons and carols. The lessons however will be presented from different mediums including a dramatic presentation, a synopsis of a reading in story form, poem etc...
No plans for New Years
We will offer an evening gathering on zoom to celebrate Epiphany at 7pm

Church of the Epiphany, Gates

Slide show with Christmas hymn highlighting Christmas' past. A pre-recorded Christmas pageant. Two piano pieces by children in our parish. A Blue Christmas Service. We sent out customized Christmas cards to the entire parish and the Police Dept, Fire Dept, Ambulance, Local Library, and Gates Park & Rec .
Epiphany - Virtual King Cake - find the baby Jesus

St. Peter’s, Henrietta

We are planning a Christmas Eve presentation of lessons, carols, a homily and pictures of decorated homes from the congregation. The program will be live streamed at 7:00 p.m. on December 24.

Christ Church, Hornell

We are having a pre-recorded service of Lessons and Carols for Christmas Eve and a Morning Prayer service for Christmas Day. We do not use Zoom at this point as many of our congregation either do not have internet or are of the older generation and content with just being able to figure out YouTube. I do send out copies of our Services to those who do not have internet so they have something for Sundays and will do the same for Christmas services.
New Years - I will send out a prayer that 2021 brings an end to this pandemic and brings us all back together again and for God's blessings on all.
