On Saturday, Bishop Kara discussed teaching from the Bible, and then joined in on some kayaking!
Following the closing Holy Eucharist on Sunday, we concluded the camp with hearts full of gratitude and hope. We were blessed to have 31 participants, 10 chaperones, two coordinators, and our coaching priest journey together throughout the weekend.  We concluded the camp with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, giving thanks for Christ’s presence among us and for the beloved community we experienced together. My heartfelt appreciation goes to every participant, chaperone, resource person, Vestry member, volunteer, cook, supporter, and prayer partner who made this weekend possible. Your love, dedication, and faithful service made the Summer School of Love 2026 a memorable and life-giving experience for our young people. Angeline and Paul Schawarts, our coordinators, deserve special appreciation for their dedicated work.
May God continue to bless each one of you as we seek to imitate Christ and build God’s beloved community together.Â
