A look back at Allens Hill Cemetery in Richmond, NY, which is a property of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester. It was severely damaged in a microburst storm in June 2022. Generous gifts of approximately $25,000 have been used in the cleanup efforts of removing over 40 fallen trees and restoring many monuments and headstones.  Phase I of this project is dedicated to the veterans of this great country. In honor of our veterans and their family members, a professional stone worker has repaired their stones as much as possible. The Diocese will continue this ministry as funding becomes available.
As we pay our respects and acknowledge all veterans for their sacrifice and valor, we continue to care for the veterans at rest in Allens Hill Cemetery.
