St. Thomas’ in Rochester will hold a Trans Day of Remembrance Prayer Service on Thursday, November 20, at noon on Zoom. This service is to honor and pray for our trans siblings who have died in the last year. Our trans beloveds are under attack, facing unsafe environments and refusal of gender affirming care. In the last year, violence and hate crimes have occurred in our proverbial backyard. On this day, we will give dignity to those whose lives have been lost. We will pray for their names, seek forgiveness, and find better ways of living, loving, supporting, and honoring the dignity of every human being.
