Praying for Creation on the Longest Night Thursday, December 18th at 7 pm at St. Peter’s, Henrietta.
A “longest night service” is a contemplative church service held around the Winter Solstice for those who are grieving or struggling during the holidays. This longest night service will be centered around prayers for God’s creation, as we gather and find solace in all that God has provided through our earth, and ask forgiveness for our mistreatment of the land. This service is planned and led by the Diocesan Creation Care team, and will be held on Thursday, December 18 at 7 pm at St. Peter’s, Henrietta.
