10th Annual Ecumenical Good Friday Cross Walk 2018

Good Friday, a solemn day, provides an opportunity to walk with and for people most in need.  We are inspired by the compassionate and prophetic voice of the Most Rev. Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church.  Thus, we walk together as "Neighborhood Companions in a Field Hospital" and members of the Jesus Movement, embracing those Jesus most loved, "the least of these."  Walking in solidarity with refugees, with people affected by the opioid drug crisis, with people in poverty and without a home, and with people effected by violence and racism, we walked the streets of the North-West quadrant of the Maplewood-Edgerton neighborhood.  Attending the walk included the Rt. Rev. Prince Singh and the Rev. Canon Johnnie Ross, both from our diocese. Sheriff Todd Baxter also joined the walk.  Click HERE for a slideshow of the walk.
