Welcome our interim rector at St. John's, Canandaigua

 

The Wardens and Vestry of St. John's Episcopal Church in Canandaigua, NY are pleased to announce that Interim Rector, The Rev. Dr. Richard Laribee has joined them this week. Rev. Laribee, Rick, is retired but has most recently been serving as the Rector of Christ Church, West River, MD. Before that, he served parishes in Maryland and Watertown, NY. He has extensive experience as a leader of mission trips and pilgrimages. Rick describes himself as a “passionate traveler” having explored and photographed natural, cultural, historical, and religious sites worldwide. His interests include Christian spiritual disciplines and practices, especially the contemplative discipline. Rick and his wife, Kim, have family in the Syracuse area. They will be looking for a home in the Geneva area. Please join us in welcoming Rick and Kim to St. John’s and Canandaigua.
