The McKelvey Millennium Ministry Development FundTuesday, January 2, 2018When Bishop McKelvey retired, the Diocese was good enough to raise a considerable amount of money to say thank you to Linda and Jack. The money is to fund a program entitled the McKelvey Millennium Ministry Development Fund . Since 2009, they have granted gifts of approximately 5,000 dollars each year for ministries around the world. A large part of the gifting has been for Water For South Sudan. Other gifts include a babies home in Ghana and Disaster Relief in Haiti a few years ago. Read more » |

The Ordination of Michael Laver as a Priest at St. John's SodusMonday, December 18, 2017It was a cold and snowy Saturday on December 16, 2017 for the Orination of Michael Laver. However, the warmth of God inside the church was felt throughout the large congregation. The Rev. Michael Laver joined the Episcopal Church in 2005 and started discerning a call to ministry a couple years later, in 2008.
