Northwest Health and Community Services Day
Northwest Health and Community Services Day will take place from noon to 4 pm at St George's Episcopal Church, 635 Old Wilder Road, Hilton, and will feature a wide variety of health and social service organizations at tables providing valuable information about their work, as well as some direct onsite services.
Types of services that will be represented will include: Job placement services, children’s mental health services, bereavement support, drug treatment services, Medicare and Medicaid counseling, legal aid service, free COVID and flu vaccinations, eye exams, and cancer screening.

Providers and services we anticipate will include: The Flaum Eye Institute, the Wilmot Cancer Center, the Strong Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis Unit, Bivona Child Advocacy Center, Hilton Schools Free and Reduced Lunch and Cadet Cupboard programs, Hilton Emergency Food Shelf, Hilton Clothes Closet, Excellus Healthcare, Fidelis Health Care, the Sheriff's Dept., and, from Monroe County Dept of Human Services: the Office of Mental Health, Veterans Service Agency, Dept of Public Health, Office of Aging, Homebound Program, Monroe County Clerk’s Office, Dept of Public Safety, Monroe County Youth Bureau, WIC, Monroe County Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department. In addition, County Executive, Adam Bello, and other public leaders are planning to be present.
Because this is happening the day before Mother's Day, we are planning some fun activities for families including: lawn games, kids' cookie decorating for Mother's Day (compliments of Wegmans), and an art table and supplies for kids to make Mother's Day cards (compliments of St George's Church). In addition, free food and drink will be provided.
