The Bishop's Visitation Celebration for the Blessed Absalom Jones

You are invited to the Rt. Rev. Kara Wagner Sherer's Visitation to St. The Episcopal Church of St. Luke & St. Simon Cyrene for a Celebration of the Blessed Absalom Jones. Jones became the first African American ordained priest in The Episcopal Church in 1804. His witness to the way of Jesus included efforts to abolish slavery and to lift up all those cast down.
